Thank you A2601! :) As what I have read, it will usually take 4 months as long as you will not get a checklist from them. I think the packet 3 is the appointment letter which I haven't received as a hard copy. The embassy emailed to me that they are waiving my scheduled appointment because I was about to age out. :)

I'm not really sure. It took a day for us to reach NVC though. USCIS and NVC sent an email to my mom that they already sent/received our case last September 26. Our case was opened after 7 working days.

Thanks Jasmine! I'm sorry for the multiple comments though. I'll find a way to delete them. Haha Yes, I'd like to believe it will take 2 years for LPRs. My mom watched Citizen Pinoy at ANC hosted by Atty. Gurfinkle(?) and he said that beneficiaries can go in the US within 2 years. Like for my case, my PD is May 24, 2012 and hopefully, we can finish it before the year ends. ^^ Two years is quite fast, IMO. You can finish the NVC process within 4 months if you pay bills and send all the required documents as soon as possible. :)

I've been studying the timelines of F2A spouse and F2A child and it seems that the former is much faster than the latter. AOS and IV review can reach up to 20-30 working days each. P.S Jasmine, can you delete my comments? I can't find a delete button here. Haha!

We also still don't have our case number yet. My mom called them last week and the tier 2 operator told her to wait for 3 months. lol! I guess we should just call them every other day.
