Did you call nvc ,ore often before your case was assigned? Mine took almost 3 weeks now and yet no response from nvc
maring posted on 10/7/2013 8:45:40 PM
We also still don't have our case number yet. My mom called them last week and the tier 2 operator told her to wait for 3 months. lol! I guess we should just call them every other day.

Hello Jasmine! I got my case number and IIN already. How about you?
Jasmine posted on 10/9/2013 6:11:17 AM
Hi maring, my husband just called them yesterday and tier 2 operator said we wait up to 8 weeks. We've been calling them for almost everyday and still no good news.
maring posted on 10/10/2013 2:15:07 AM
Just keep on calling them. Good luck to us! :)
Jspl13 posted on 10/10/2013 6:05:35 PM
Jasmine we had the same situation. My husband keeps calling the nvc. Hope we'll receive our cases numbers too! I would just ask what is the RFE?thanks!

hello maring. we just got our case number this friday.. thanks for giving me positive vibes.. im hoping for fast process this time// thanks
maring posted on 10/13/2013 11:19:37 PM
No prob Jasmine! NVC already shipped my case at the embassy. I tracked it in DHL's website and it says there that they delivered it earlier but the consignee premises is closed (Columbus Day). They expedited it because of aging-out. I'll turn 21 on the 30th. Omo. T.T I believe we can have a faster process this time because our PD is still current. We can do this! :))
Jasmine posted on 10/14/2013 1:02:19 AM
Wow. Congrats to you maring. Anyway can i ask you something? Coz my aunt told me that if the petitioner is a green card holder it took 2 years for over all processing of the application.. My husband is a greencard holder. Is it true?
Jspl13 posted on 10/14/2013 1:08:41 AM
Jasmine yes it's true. Sorry if im the one who answered it. There's a new law about those spouses and children of permanent resident GC holders under F2A category.

Thanks Jasmine! I'm sorry for the multiple comments though. I'll find a way to delete them. Haha Yes, I'd like to believe it will take 2 years for LPRs. My mom watched Citizen Pinoy at ANC hosted by Atty. Gurfinkle(?) and he said that beneficiaries can go in the US within 2 years. Like for my case, my PD is May 24, 2012 and hopefully, we can finish it before the year ends. ^^ Two years is quite fast, IMO. You can finish the NVC process within 4 months if you pay bills and send all the required documents as soon as possible. :)
Jasmine posted on 10/14/2013 1:22:32 AM
As i go along with other accounts looking at their cases.. Some only took for a year and some earlier depending on how they respond on nvc. Comparing it to my case which i have a priority date of april 2013, mine is faster than the others. So, my husband is very positive that we will complete our case soon. And never reach 2 years. But, approx. how many months for nvc to complete case? Coz maring only took only less than a month before sending it to the consulate.

I've been studying the timelines of F2A spouse and F2A child and it seems that the former is much faster than the latter. AOS and IV review can reach up to 20-30 working days each.

P.S Jasmine, can you delete my comments? I can't find a delete button here. Haha!
Jasmine posted on 10/14/2013 1:44:37 AM
I cant delete it maring. Hehe.. Its okay nvm. Anyway, im hoping for my case to be process fast. So what will be your next step?
Jasmine posted on 10/14/2013 1:46:57 AM
Jspl, i hope our application will move fast. Im worried on succeeding months, coz VB might retrogress.
maring posted on 10/14/2013 1:50:30 AM
I'm so sorry. T.T I have to call the embassy tomorrow to ask for further instructions. I'm done with my civil documents and will just wait for my mom's AOS forms documents. I'm positive that the progress of your case will be fast. :) I know someone who is F2A spouse completed her case in 2 months time after she got her case number.

welcome Fe. is your petitioner a green card holder also?
Fe posted on 10/14/2013 10:41:16 PM
Yes, my husband is a green card holder since January last year. He received the RFE letter last Saturday suggesting him to submit a completed & signed form of G-325A. He will be submitting the form anytime this week.

FE, only G325A? Nothing else? Mine, we submitted marriage contract , passport photo and birth certificate from NSO. We submitted together with G325A.

Thanks admin. :)
Fe posted on 10/15/2013 7:44:18 AM
Prior to G-325A, we already submitted those other items you have mentioned. USCIS just needed my husband's completed & signed G-325A.
