Every country in EB and FB category is limited to max 7% of initial visa allocation. In case of spillovers, rules are different.
In FB category, the total quota every year is at least 226,000.
Here is the breakdown:
F2 category: Spouses and Children, and Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Permanent Residents: 114,200, plus the number (if any) by which the worldwide family preference level exceeds 226,000, plus any unused first preference numbers:
A. (F2A) Spouses and Children of Permanent Residents: 77% of the overall second preference limitation, of which 75% are exempt from the per-country limit;
You can find out the actual allocation in this link: http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/statistics/statistics_1476.html
Click on any year. In section V, click on Part 1. It will give you a detailed breakdown, if you want to do some number crunching [biggrin]

thanks amazon... seen already... how come total of f2b is higher than f2a? heheh... just curious...
Can you post the link in which F2B is higher than F2A? Typically F2A is 3-4 times more than F2B.
