OK, so after consular processing the visa has been issued and the passport has arrived. We have paid the final USCIS fee before actual travelling to US. A final question, what address is the Green Card mailed to? I am not sure if they use the one in the G-28 application of the petitioner or which one. Any ideas?

Hi Amazon, So we did consular interview ~ 2 weeks ago and consular officer approved visa and gave us receipt to handle to courier company. I checked the status on CEAC website and it says READY Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: However, we already did the interview. It also states "Status Updated Date: 13-May-2014" Does anyone know what to make of this? Thanks and regards

Hi Molly, It was basic questions that anyone in a bona fide marriage would have no problem to answer. Things like how we met, how many times I visit her, etc. By the way, it has been 1 week from interview and still waiting for news on the actual Visa. It will be delivered via Courier service but so far no news on the website.

Interview was completed and visa approved! 1.5 years from filling the I-130. Now have to wait to have passport mailed with visa information and then do the final payment.

Hello, So finally my wife's interview got scheduled after approval of the case by the NVC. We are preparing all the information to demonstrate the ongoing relationship after marriage. Any ideas on what type of questions are typically asked in that interview? Cheers.

Hello, Our case was approved mid January and we are waiting for Embassy in Dominican Republic to provide date to schedule interview. I was hoping this part of the process had been a little faster but it is taking its time. Hope we get the notice soon. Any other folks with a recent experience with DR processing? Thanks

According to NVC processing of our case is complete and now we are waiting for Embassy abroad to assign a date for interview before they mailed us the interview packet. No other option than staying patient.

We got I-130 approved back in September. NVC contacted us and 1 month after we submitted all information they have requested original documents. Hopefully they will transfer to consulate for scheduling of interview soon.
