Thank you so much for your response. We read NVC will not issue the visa if the F2A retrogress and our PD is not current, even if we complete the interview. Is that true? Also, we saw F2A worldwide will retrogress as Mexico did on March Visa Bulletin. When we should expect that happen? We read the predictions on the bulletin and it says no forward movement is expected on the next few months, but when do you think the retrogress will be effective for the rest of the world? We are very worried we complete our case and the F2A retrogress just before the interview approval. Thank you so much for your help. We really appreciate it.

Hello Amazon, We just checked the Visa Bulletin for March 2014, but the following paragraph confused us: "NOTE: For March, F2A numbers EXEMPT from per-country limit are available to applicants from all countries with priority dates earlier than 15APR12. F2A numbers SUBJECT to per-country limit are available to applicants chargeable to all countries EXCEPT MEXICO with priority dates beginning 15APR12 and earlier than 08SEP13. (All F2A numbers provided for MEXICO are exempt from the per-country limit; there are no F2A numbers for MEXICO subject to per-country limit.)" Our PD is May 16th, 2013 (spouse from Costa Rica), we got NOA2 and we received our case number from NVC yesterday. Do we have to worry about it? Will NVC schedule the interview at the US consulate even if there's a F2A retrogression in the following months? Thank you so much in advance for your response.

Hello everyone! We are waiting for our case number from the NVC, we are hoping to get it in a couple of weeks. We have some questions about the I-864. I do have 2010-2012 Tax Returns that I have e-filed and W-2's but have not begun the 2013 Tax Return as I am waiting for my wife's social security number when filing later this year (with an extension). Will the NVC ask for the 2013 tax return this early in the year prior to the April Tax Return cut off date?Or should we put 2012 as the most recent year for the tax return information? I do have my W-2 2013 and there are no issues getting a company letter from my employer / pay stubs to prove my income in 2013. Thank you in advance for any information!

Hi Akinade, Our PD is May 16th, 2013 and we were transferred to Nebraska on September but still waiting. They are approving some June/July cases now, so I don't think you have to worry now. I'm sure they are going to start approving August cases in the following weeks. However, we have seen how people got the approval, even people with priority dates later than us and people who were transferred after us too. We really don't know what's happening. I recommend you to keep an eye on it in the next weeks. Good luck and hope you get the approval soon! We know how difficult it is.

Hi Amazon! We would like to ask for your advice. Our I130 was transferred to Nebraska on Sept 6th, 2013 from Vermont (we received a notification and hard letter saying that). Our PD is May 16th and my husband is LPR. On Sept 17th, 2013 we got another notification saying our case was transferred and was being processed at a USCIS office. We were excited because people said in forums that meant they had started to work in our case. Following and reading visa forum topics, we noticed Nebraska was approving April cases last October. At the end of October, they started to approve May cases and now they are approving June/July cases. We have seen how people got the approval, even people with priority dates later than us and people who were transferred after us too. We decided to call USCIS today to get an status and the person there sent a note/email to Nebraska asking about our petition. He gave us a referral code to ask for it in the next 3 weeks. We are worried about it, wondering would be the reasons why our petition is still without any update, since they are already approving June/July cases. Any advice or information you could bring us would be great. We don't have a lawyer, we consider our case should be simple to review, no big issues or complex immigration situations, but we don't know if having a lawyer would help us to get the decision faster. Thanks in advance for your help.
