thanks amazon for your helpful answer. well, can u plz tell me whether this transfer is going to speed up the process? i undrstnd the question may seem little stupid but the whole process is so time consuming and keeps us waiting for so long that even little advancement makes us hopeful.

thanks a lot. so what i understand is i have to wait at least around 5-6 months to have my i-130 approved and sent to nvc and by then present current status will be retrogressed. isn't it (if i am not the dumbest person ever)? well, the question looks silly though, will there be any accelaration of the present processing time in the categories where PD is current?

hello everyone! i am very new to this forum. i am currently residing in my home country and never have been to us. my wife is gc holder and currently residing in us. she is going to file i 130 for me within few days. i have noticed that all priority date under F2A category is current/ will be current in august and will remain current for next few months. so my question is if my wife file my i130 now, will i get any benefit of this present current status? or what i need to do to get this benefit? or am i not eligible for this benefit at all? it will be greatly appreciated if anyone help me in this regard. thanks in advance.
