Topic: Question on how I-485's are processed

Hi amazon, If ead/ap is approved does it means that all background checks/fbi/names checks are cleared since it has fp printed on the card as well.If this is not the case then how long it usually takes for them to approve cases after ead approval.

Thank you Lydia , I am just waiting for the actual apt date since the rumor is that the visa numbers are already used up for this fiscal year .So anyways I would have to wait for next month when the visa numbers are available.

Hi Amazon, I filled first time for my i485 recvd by uscis Texas on sept 5th,recvd FP notice for October 3rd.Is it okay to wait or can we go as a walk in . If yes, what is a good reason we can give .Does it really speed up the process or just wait for the apt date.My birth place is u.a.e with pakistani nationality.Do you think before October 31 I will be getting a response if everything turns to be good.
