a) Go to the online Financial Information page.

b) Click “Complete an Affidavit of Support form” and read the “If/Then” chart in green.

c) Select the I-864 that fits your petitioner’s situation best by clicking the corresponding link.

d) The petitioner should complete and print the correct Form I-864.

e) Remind your petitioner to read about the minimum income level necessary to sponsor an immigrant. Your petitioner may need to find a Joint Financial Sponsor or use the income of a Household Member to meet the income requirement.
