Hi All. My priority date (for F2A) is 7/1/2013 and I sent my I-485 at the end of February 2014 (few days after we got I-130 approval). I am wondering if it will have any effect on my application if the visa bulletin for F2A retrogresses before my interview (or before my GC gets approved); or as I sent I-485 in Feb 2014 (when my priority date was current), it will remain current, no matter how long it takes for AOS to gets processed.

I wonder why you sent your I485 too late. If you sent in August 2013 then now you got approval. you dont need sent I485 once your I130 was approved. you can send it once I130 pending. Think about in next 2 months, PD will be moved back in few months then you have to wait more...Thoughts

I was on J-1 visa and I had 2-year home residency requirement at that time. Although, I received the waiver at the beginning of December and as you said, I had to send the I-485 at that time. If the PD retrogresses before my interview, I am screwed.
