So I got notice that my case is being transferred from Vermont to my "local USCIS Office for further processing" since it has now jurisdiction. Any idea what this means?
It means that your case is been processed at your local USCIS office instead of Vermont Service Center. They might call you for in person interview, if needed. I am not sure if you filing as US citizen or permanent resident.
I am a LPR and my spouse is out of USA so we will need consular processing. Thanks Amazon!
im exactly same as your case,

but i call this morning and check status and answering merchin said that it is transfered to laguna local office..

My petition is 21/02/2013 filed with VSC and I have not received any notification of transfer to local USCIS office. Does that mean that they are transferring after a certain date only?

@soulmate
If you read the forum you will see someone whose priority date was 20 december 2012 got approved at california service center you should check the uscis website to see if your case was approved too
Thanks Molly. I did and not yet. It just got transferred to Nebraska last week so not sure how long it would take there since I could not find any guidance metrics. I hope it comes soon so we can take advantage of current priority date for F2A.
It seems California has been doing random approvals likely to generate enough cases going at NVC so the 2012 visa quotes get used. There is even cases from May 2013 already approved.
I keep my fingers crossed. Best.
