Hi Amazon,
My I-130 is pending and my spouse is not employed and he petitioned for my I-130 and I want to know what are the requirements for sponsership. Who can sponser me? My relatives who are on GC are employed and can fill out the form if asked but they are not citizens. Also, I am employed on H1B and that is our current source of income in my household of me and my LPR spouse.
Please advice who must fill the form I-864 in my AOS.
Thanks,
Aysha Elahe

Amazon,
I'm in the same scenario with my wife (LPR) not working. Do, I need to file I-864A in this case since she hasn't been working for over 2 years now. We have no dependents. I think I read somewhere that I-864 alone is enough in such situations but just wanted to confirm that I don't miss I-864A if it's needed ?
Please see this link: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864ainstr.pdf
The documents will tell you who can file I-864A.
