Every country in EB and FB category is limited to max 7% of initial visa allocation. In case of spillovers, rules are different.

In FB category, the total quota every year is at least 226,000.

Here is the breakdown:

F2 category: Spouses and Children, and Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Permanent Residents: 114,200, plus the number (if any) by which the worldwide family preference level exceeds 226,000, plus any unused first preference numbers:

A. (F2A) Spouses and Children of Permanent Residents: 77% of the overall second preference limitation, of which 75% are exempt from the per-country limit;

You can find out the actual allocation in this link: http://www.travel.state....ics/statistics_1476.html

Click on any year. In section V, click on Part 1. It will give you a detailed breakdown, if you want to do some number crunching BigGrin

Can you post the link in which F2B is higher than F2A? Typically F2A is 3-4 times more than F2B.
