Hi..

Our attorney filled I-130 F2A last August 14..im outside of us so that I can't talk directly to our atty..My mother in law gave my alien number,,I forgot to ask her our receipt number or "NOA1" so that on my own I can check our cases via online...

My question is if our atty already filled our application..is this possible that we have already a priority date???

Thanks.amazon..

Yes. PD is typically the date I-130 application was received by USCIS. Once you filed I-130 application, USCIS will send a receipt notice. That will have your receipt number which you can use to check your status online.

It typically takes 7-10 business days to receive the notice.

If you do not receive it even after 3-4 weeks, you can call USCIS and ask them to give you the receipt number. They will have that in their system (though sometimes it takes few weeks for their system to update).
