Guys,
Do any of you know how to get hold of a live Customer service rep for USCIS inquiries in US? I called 1-800-375-5283 and tried every possible options. The only service is from the automated system.I called during the office hours but no live customer service rep.

Hello!
Just call USCIS and (check case status) enter your receipt number and wait automatic answer machine will check your case and tell you everything but wait until the end of the message. In the end it says " if you have any question... or if you want to to a representative press .."

I did the same but it doesn't give any such options and terminates the call. The automated system however says that the "customer service rep are available from 8am-6pm" but never routes the call to them.Believe me i tried all the options. Almost spend 2 hours but no progress. 😠

There used to be a specific key combination you had to enter. I will post if I can remember it. It was probably 5 or 6 digits in length.

The wait time to talk to USCIS had increased to 60+ minutes in last few months.
Please remember to add your case to the GC tracker: http://www.mygcvisa.com/tracker

Hello!
I just tried to call USCIS to check! I called 1-800-375-5283.
1) - #1 Case status and so on...
2) - #1 Check existing case status and etc...
3) - #1 if you know your receipt number press 1...
4) - I entered the receipt number - and the system checked the status and told me. After all it says "you have just heard most update .... - and "if you want to report a problem etc. stay on the line" and I waited 5 minutes - I talked to a representative.

YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT.

The fastest way I tried was not to enter your Alien # even thought you know it. I remember it will prompt out enter your Alien registration number, and there will be an option saying if you do not know your A number press xx (I forgot exactly) and then it will transfer you to a representative. try it.
