Hey. I am from India. My category is F2B and submitted at Nebraska Service Center. My priority date is 12 October 2020 . Please tell me when will it approved ?
Krishna posted on 12/12/2020 4:34:01 AM
@Harshil You can go through the average time taken for I-130 approval in this portal. On an average, it takes 5 to 7 years for I-130 F2B India to be approved and another 9 to 12 months time from I-130 approval to Embassy Interview. You have just begun. Possibly 2026/ 2027, you may see I-130 approved. Good Luck!

@Krishna But my case at Nebraska Service Center. And i checked Case processing time on USCIS website, they show estimated time 7 to 9 months. Check below website https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

the number of immigrant visa applicants on the waiting list https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Immigrant-Statistics/WaitingList/WaitingListItem_2017.pdf https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Immigrant-Statistics/WaitingList/WaitingListItem_2018.pdf https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Immigrant-Statistics/WaitingList/WaitingListItem_2019.pdf Please read and give your feedback the number of applicant in F2B queue (only for India) in the year 2019 is less compare to year 2016,2017,2018,2019.(you can see that in aove pdf) the percentage of applicant is reduce (average 13) in every year. based on that, i can predicte that my I-130 will approved within 7-9 months and embasy interview will scheduled in year 2023 ?

Dear Krisna brother, my priority date 04 March 2016 under f2b category. My case was approved 21 January 2021. Current visa bulletin shows my priority date 2nd chart is current. But I did not received case creation letter. I called & emailed several times at nvc but they said my case was not transferred from uscis to nvc. Please help me brother . Thank you.
Krishna posted on 4/9/2021 3:02:03 AM
Dear Jahangir Brother, Please have patience. In my case, it took 5+ months for USCIS to move my case to NVC, despite mine was current for few months. I read that it took 4 to 6 months for many cases in 2020. Please continue to follow with NVC. Regards
Krishna posted on 4/16/2021 11:30:31 PM
Dear Jahangir Brother, Please check your I-130 approval to be sure that it is approved under F2B category. USCIS changes the category on their own to F1, if your petitioner/ sponsor's status changes from GC to Naturalized Citizen before I-130 approval. In that scenario, you as beneficiary can request for change in category from F1 to F2B by writing to NVC.

No , my mom did not applied for citizenship .
Krishna posted on 4/16/2021 11:41:10 PM
Dear Jahangir Brother, Please continue to chase NVC and USCIS, once in 2 weeks. Your sponsor has a right to petition to local congress man or woman and/or local senator and they can also take up with USCIS and NVC for speedy processing. In many cases, that approach works.

Dear krishna, do you know about no blank space policy that applies to affidavit of support form. I am very confused about it.
Krishna posted on 4/29/2021 8:59:25 PM
Dear Sahid, My understanding is that, under the new USCIS policy, an applicant who leaves a field blank will have their application or petition rejected as incomplete, even if the field is one that was not relevant to that individual's eligibility. As per my understanding, the new policy also covers form I-864 (affidavit support form). In my case, i am the only person to be sponsored by my father and he provided form I-864EZ, which was accepted by NVC.

Ok, thanks dear.
