Amazon is awesome. A lot of thanks to him.
@A2601- my pd is july, 2013 and initially it was in vermont, now moved to a local office that i don't know! How about u? u r also being processed in a local office? Hope our waiting ends soon 😞
thanks amazon for your helpful answer. well, can u plz tell me whether this transfer is going to speed up the process? i undrstnd the question may seem little stupid but the whole process is so time consuming and keeps us waiting for so long that even little advancement makes us hopeful.
hi amazon,
when i checked my case status it said that they have transfered my case to local uscis office. now i don't understand-
1. is the local office located in the state where the applicant reside? how can i know?
2. can i check my case status online using the same old reciept number or there is a new reciept number?
3. is there anything extra i need to do?

Amazon please help. thanks in advance.
thanks a lot amazon. received email notification. now that long wait for approval!
thanks a lot amazon. so i have to wait. but i don't understand that my spouse has filed i-130 few days ago but no email notification yet. is it normal?
thanks a lot. so what i understand is i have to wait at least around 5-6 months to have my i-130 approved and sent to nvc and by then present current status will be retrogressed. isn't it (if i am not the dumbest person ever)? well, the question looks silly though, will there be any accelaration of the present processing time in the categories where PD is current?
hello everyone! i am very new to this forum. i am currently residing in my home country and never have been to us. my wife is gc holder and currently residing in us. she is going to file i 130 for me within few days. i have noticed that all priority date under F2A category is current/ will be current in august and will remain current for next few months. so my question is if my wife file my i130 now, will i get any benefit of this present current status? or what i need to do to get this benefit? or am i not eligible for this benefit at all? it will be greatly appreciated if anyone help me in this regard. thanks in advance.
