I just got a message from uscis as below. is it normal process? anybody got this message from uscis? why it transferred to local office from California service center? please help !!! Receipt Number: WAC139051**** Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN Your Case Status: Initial Review On August 15, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

It just means that USCIS is processing the application at local office instead of a service center. If they need more details, they will contact you.

@ Amazon: I am still waiting to be approved and I have not received RFE, but I found this online, and I read stories where sometimes they did not accept a regular photocopy. http://www.immihelp.com/immigration/certified-copy.html We only sent a photocopy of our marriage certificate, do you think this could be a problem? On the USCIS website it says: To complete the process, the petitioner must submit: Form I-130 (signed with proper fee), with all required documentation, including: Two completed and signed G-325A forms (one for you and one for your spouse) A copy of your civil marriage certificate A copy of all divorce decrees, death certificates, or annulment decrees that demonstrate that all previous marriages entered into by you and/or your spouse were terminated Passport style photos of you and your spouse (see Form I-130 instructions for photo requirements) Evidence of all legal name changes for you and/or your spouse (may include marriage certificates, divorce decrees, court judgment of name change, adoption decrees, etc.) So a little confused, but I hope it is not going to be a problem and we're going to be approved soon. Thanks. FK
